Job Description:
Installation and Configuration: Responsible for the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle & MS SQL database environments.
Cluster Administration: Proficient in the administration of Grid Infrastructure and Real Application Clusters (RAC).
Database Migration: Expertise in migrating databases from lower to higher versions ensuring smooth transitions.
Environment Support: Strong knowledge in supporting all environments (Production, Test, Development) across various UNIX flavors with proficiency in scripting.
Data Transfer Utilities: Experience with data transfer utilities like Data Pump, import/export, and database links for efficient data management.
Issue Resolution: Skilled in resolving database backup, recovery, and performance issues for uninterrupted operations.
Database Management: Experience in managing Tablespaces and User accounts efficiently.
Standby Database Maintenance: Proficient in configuring and maintaining standby databases for high availability.
Patching: Strong knowledge in patching both RAC and single instance databases ensuring system security and stability.
Alert Configuration: Experience in configuring alerts through Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and resolving target-related issues promptly.

IT Service Management: Good understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes ensuring smooth IT operations.
Root Cause Analysis: Capable of conducting root cause analysis and providing long-term fixes for recurring issues.
Cloud Services Knowledge: Familiarity with any one of Exadata, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure cloud services.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a 24*7 environment.
