Job Responsibilities:
– Help build, maintain and manage data pipeline, backend services, APIs, frameworks, and platform.
– Integrate backend application into consumer-facing frontend applications.
– Write high-quality, scalable code following best practices.
– Contribute to observability and monitoring tools for issue detection and performance measurement.
– Participate in code reviews, on-call rotations, architecture reviews, and project planning.
– Work on release management, rollout & deployment of services.
– Collaborate cross-functionally with other stakeholders like product, operations, and sales teams to design and build services supporting business goals.
Required Qualifications:
– Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years applied experience.
– Expertise in software architecture & infrastructure decisions.
– Proficiency in object-relational mapping (ORM) and relational databases.
– Experience designing and building robust, scalable, secure systems.
– Good understanding of GraphQL.
– Familiarity with microservices-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs.
– Comfortable in an honest and transparent culture, giving and receiving meaningful feedback.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience or interest in financial services or asset/wealth management.
– Expertise in data engineering tooling and cloud infrastructure (AWS services, containers).
